The Yoruba Koya Leadership and Training Foundation (YKLTF) has called on its kinsmen across the globe on need to tap on the strength to begin a developmental agenda for Yorubaland in Nigeria, by joining hands together towards its actualization.

Penpushing reports that the call was contained in a Ramadan congratulatory message issued by its President Otunba Deji Osibogun on Friday, noting that battle to change the constitution or restructure Nigeria is a long and tedious process but the body must not give up slow, stressing that steady will win the race.

‘We must begin to join hands with our Yoruba people worldwide. We must begin to unify all efforts on the ground at home and abroad. First is to engineer a resemblance of a Yoruba Nation along our cultural and traditional ties, woven around the development of Yoruba communities worldwide and tapping on that strength to begin a developmental agenda for Yorubaland in Nigeria’,Osibogun emphasised .

‘The battle to change the constitution or Restructure Nigeria is a long and tedious process but we must not give up slow and steady will win the race. But our task of unification should start now with our youths , teach them new ways to organise a productive tribe , hold meetings with them’, he added.

Penpushing further reports that Yoruba Koya Leadership and Training Foundation (YKLTF) pointed out that, there is important need to protect tradition, honoring their words, maintaining integrity and sustaining cultural values

‘Dialogue on solutions to their problems and hand over to them a legacy they can all be proud of. Protecting our Tradition, honouring our words, maintaining our integrity. Sustaining our cultural values and rekindling their hope for a better tomorrow’, the message added
