A Pressure Group, Yayi Diaspora Movement (YDM) has appointed a chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC), Ojaronke Ogunremi as mother of the movement to guide them ahead and during the campaign of the governorship candidate, Senator Solomon Adeola.
Penpushing reports the conferment of the exalted position was held on Monday at the palatial residence of Ogunremi located within the premises located Oladayo Popoola Crescent Government Reservation Area (GRA) axis, Abeokuta
The Convener of the movement Hon. Olusola Adisa-Adunbarin said the body proudly conferred the distinguished title of Mother of the Movement to Ogunremi in recognition of her outstanding motherly role, exemplary leadership, and unwavering dedication to the ideals, growth, and unity of the movement

Penpushing further reports that Ogun State Coordinator in his opening speech explained that the choice of Ogunremi was as result of her known integrity in politics and other ramifications, as well as been a warhorse in politics
The mother of the group in her response said she was happy to accept the appointment, with a pledge to always give the movement meaning advices and support, however, cautioned them to display integrity at all time.
Penpushing also reports that Ogunremi, urged the diasporans on need for them to find and come home in joining the governorship campaign when the race started, just as the warned home-based members not to see sponsors abroad as a source to milk them.
The renowned politician advised them to be prudent in executing the project, pointing out that the members at home, should equally understand the fact that those in diaspora are equally interested in the victory of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for them to be relevant
Penpushing further reports that she didn’t minced words, warning that if the movement derail on the sincerity of purpose, she would not hesitate to withdraw her role as the mother of the movement.
Meanwhile, other notable leaders of the party who joined Ogunremi in receiving the team led by the Ogun State Coordinator, Raheem Saka, include Faida Sarumi-Akintunde (former Chairman Abeokuta North Local Government), Hon Olayiwola Ojodu (former member Ogun State House Assembly) Hon Micky Kazeem (former member Federal House of Representatives and Chief (Mrs) Modupe Olasupo (Special Assistant to Governor on Women Affairs) among others
