WAFCON: President National Council of Women Societies, Edna Azura commends Super Falcons for zooming up to finals

The President of the National Council of Women Societies (NCWS) Princess Edna Azura has established the national female football team, Super Falcons as warriors who are ready to conquer every opposition.

Penpushing reports that Azura made this known as she celebrated the Super Falcons victory over South Africa in the semi-final of the ongoing Women s African Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morroco

The Council boss who reflected her excitement after the Super Falcons drubbing of the Zambians by five goals to nil, pointed out that the female footballers are equally elegant describing the victory as a reflection of the resilient spirit of the Nigerian women.

Penpushing further reports that Azura, who watched the semi-final encounter on television alongside a large group of women filled with excitement and prayers, however, called on the Super Falcons to realise that they are not alone in their mission X goal as millions of Nigerians are hopeful and prayerful for their victory.

The National President equally urged the team to beat the host country, Morocco, on Saturday and lift the cup for the celebration of millions of Nigerians and especially the nation’s first lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu who remains steadfast tin her commitment to advancing the interests of Nigerian women and children

Penpushing also reports that it would be recalled that the Super Falcons had qualified for the final of the competition after defeating the defending champions the Bayana Bayana of South Africa by two goals to one.
