A frontline Governorship aspirant under thE platform of All Progressives Congress (APC) Oun State ahead of the 2027 general election, Dr Tunde Lemo has commended President Bola Tinubu for supporting the construction of Gateway International Airport in Ogun State.
Penpushing further reports that Lemo, who is former Deputy Governor Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) expressed optimism that the airport would boost the state’s economy, particularly in the export of agricultural products.
The banking guru and notable member of Penpushing platform pointed out that the development would elevate Ogun State into the top three states in terms of Internally Generated Revenue (IGR).
Penpushing also reports that it would be recalled that President Tinubu on Saturday alongside with former President Olusegun Obasanjo and other top political office holders commissioned the airport with two newly acquired airlines by the Ogun State government
