The enduring legacies of the late Reverend Fola Achudume of Victory Life Bible Church through the annual All Women Summit on Saturday recorded hundreds of beneficiaries from empowerment outreach held in Abeokuta.
Penpushing reports that the outreach known as “Shop for Free”, organised by Royal Ladies International, attracted participants from different parts of Ogun State and beyond, with beneficiaries receiving clothing materials, shoes, food items, household utensils and other essential commodities free of charge.
The beneficiaries included women, children, youths and the elderly from diverse religious, social and economic backgrounds who thronged the church headquarters, located along Abeokuta-Ajebo Road in Abeokuta
Penpushing further reports that the annual outreach has become one of the defining highlights of the All Women Summit, reflecting the deceased lifelong passion for giving, uplifting the less privileged and empowering women to live purposeful lives.
The 2026 edition of the summit, themed “Shine,” continues the vision of the late cleric through Royal Ladies International as a platform for spiritual renewal, leadership development and practical empowerment.
Penpushing also reports that General Overseer of the renowned church Apostle Lawrence Achudume, speaking at the events said sustaining the outreach remains part of the ministry’s commitment to preserving the God-given vision and enduring legacy of his late wife, whose passion was to transform lives spiritually, socially and economically.
The known frankly speaking cleric urged women not to allow the pressures and disappointments of life to prevent them from fulfilling God’s purpose, pointing out that many women face enormous challenges in marriage, childbearing, parenting, careers and other aspects of life, yet God remains faithful to those who trust Him.
“As a woman, you may be overwhelmed by the responsibilities of motherhood, marriage and service, but God will never abandon you. There are things God will take you through because of your assignment on earth. If you identify His presence, you will come out stronger and better’, he said
Penpushing reports that Achudume drawing from the Biblical account of the three Hebrew men in the fiery furnace, assured participants that God never leaves His children in difficult times, encouraging women not to see life’s challenges as excuses to abandon their calling, but to continue shining in their homes, workplaces, communities and in the service of God.
The guest minister, Apostle (Dr.) Ngozi Okwok, paying glowing tribute to the late initiator of the project described her as a woman of unwavering faith, uncommon sacrifice and boundless generosity whose vision continues to transform lives long after her passing.
Penpushing further reports that he urged participants to preserve and build on the deceased enduring legacy by embracing knowledge, personal development and spiritual growth.
The guest minister stressed that ignorance is never an excuse, and encouraged women, irrespective of their social, economic, educational or religious backgrounds, to strive for excellence and become lights in their homes, professions, communities and every sphere of influence.
