A suspected fraudster operating under the cover of United Nations (UN) is now on the prowl to defraud unsuspecting individuals and organisations with bait of donating $250,000 as financial support for targeted victims.

Penpushing reports that the suspected fraudster who identified himself as Dennis Francis is currently sending messages through email address chandralucky9@gmail.com calling on unsuspecting individuals and organizations to entice them over unsolicited request.

The suspect in  in the message encouraged the targeted individuals and organization to confirm receipt of the dubious messages and asked them to send a reply to same email address he provided, to enable him process the suspected fake donations.

‘I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to inform you that you have been selected as the recipient of a donation compensation from the United Nations in the amount of $250,000. This donation is intended to provide financial support and assistance to individuals in need, and we believe that you are deserving of this contribution’, Francis wrote.

Penpushing further reports that investigation revealed that responding to the fraudulent message, through the provided email address by Francis, will pave way for him to have access to recipients’ bank account details and subsequently mopped up such accounts to his own advantage

‘In order to claim the cash donation, we kindly request that you reply to this letter indicating your acceptance and providing your mailing address for direct delivery of the funds. Once we receive your response, we will ensure that the donation is sent to you promptly and securely’, the suspected fraudster said.

‘We congratulate you on being chosen for this donation and hope that it brings some relief and comfort during these challenging times. If you have any questions or require further assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. Thank you for your attention to this matter, and we look forward to hearing from you soon. Warm regards’, Francis added
