  • The General Overseer of Victory Life Bible Church (VLBC) Àpostle Lawrence Achudume has called on Nigerians to desist from the habit of talking evil about the country in the interest of developmental growth of the nation and citizens.
Penpushing reports that Achudume made the call while speaking on the theme,”Winning the War”, at a service held on Sunday as part of activities of the church in celebrating Nigeria at 62, held at the church headquarters located along Abeokuta- Ajebo road, Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital.
The known frankly speaking cleric emphasised that Nigeria is a great nation among others across the globe, stressing that he is convinced about this having travelled across the globe and saw the differences which put Nigeria at vantage position
“Stop talking evil about Nigeria. Nigeria is a blessed nation. I have travelled across the world, and am convinced about this. God told me to tell you that in few months to end this year,no time will be wasted. Things will get better. Our God is God of salvation, we must acknowledge him daily”, he emphasised
  • Penpushing further reports that, Achudume addressing thousands of congregants at the service affirmed that Nigeria is at the point of escape from sorrow and hardship, predicting that in due course, the world will celebrate the country, stressing that there will be peace and noting that Nigeria is not a confused nation, but some few elements who have no competence in governance
“Nigeria will escape sorrow. The whole world will celebrate Nigeria, there will be peace. We have a dream for Nigeria, and it will come to pass. Nigeria is not a confused nation, but some few elements are confused. Nigeria will start benefiting God blessings in abundance. We should raise entrepreneurs and not beggars”, he stated.
Penpushing also reports that, the clergyman pointed out that if Nigeria is bad as being painted in some quarters, foreigners would not have applied for its citizenship, recalling that over two hundred foreigners recently got citizenship of the country, adding that the development was a clear indication that Nigeria is a great country to be reckoned with all time
  • The fearless cleric cautioned some arrogant leaders in the country, to retrace their steps, noting that it is amazing seeing Governors, Ministers, Commissioners even chairmen of local governments and other political office holders exhibiting arrogance in office, stressing that many of them in such habit lacks governance skills and competence
