The So-Safe Corps, a security outfit owned by the Ogun State Government has arrested a suspected notorious kidnapper, Bature Ibrahim, said to have been terrorizing Oke-Ogun axis of the state.
Penpushing reports that, Director of Information of the Corps, Moruf Yusuf made this known in a statement adding that the suspect was arrested on Saturday 15th January, 2022 at 06:05hrs along Olorunda-Imala road.
The statement added that, the suspect was attempting to escape through Olorunda town after he learnt that he was on wanted list of the corps, following revelation of his involvement in kidnapping by alleged conspirators in custody
Penpushing further reports that, the statement said the Commander of the Corps, Dr Soji Ganzallo had earlier ordered officers and men of Olorunda Post of the Corps under Oke-Ogun Division to secure the identified black spots across the state and to also revisit the records of suspected kidnappers to effect their arrests”.
The Director of Information disclosed that exhibits recovered from the suspect include: clothes and money already handed over to the Anti Kidnapping Department of the Ogun State Police Headquarter, Eleweran, Abeokuta.
