A sex-maniac 45 year old man, Olaoluwa Jimoh has impregnated his own 19 year old biological daughter (name withheld),in Ode-Remo town, and has been arrested by the Ogun State Police Command.
Penpushing reports that, the arrest of the suspect followed a complaint by the daughter to the Divisional Police Headquarters that her father has been addicted to having sex with her for over two years.
The victim disclosed that, the father had asked her to be staying with him, having ordered her mother who she was earlier staying with, to release her, recalling that sometime in June 2021, her father forcefully had sex with her.
Penpushing further reports that, the girl said her father was fond of threatening to kill her if she dare informed anybody, stressing that having being fed up, she took the courage to report, not minding the threat of her father, when she discovered that she has got pregnant.
The Ogun State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi who confirmed the incident and arrest of the suspect in a statement said the victim disclosed that, her mother had separated from her father
‘The randy father with uncontrollable libido was arrested following a complaint lodged at Ode Remo divisional headquarters by the victim, who reported that she has been living with her father for the past two years, but sometime in June 2021, her father forcefully had sex with her’,Oyeyemi said
.‘She stated further that since then, she has been raped severally by her father who always threatened to kill her if she dare informed anybody. The 19 years old victim informed the police that her mother has separated from the father long time ago, and that she has been living with her mother until about two years ago when the suspect asked her to come and be living with him’.
‘She decided to report, not minding the threat of her father, when she discovered that she has got pregnant. Upon the report, the DPO, Ode Remo Division, CSP Fasogbon Olayemi quickly detailed his detectives to go after the suspect and he was promptly arrested’, Oyeyemi added
. Penpushing also reports that, the police spokesman in the statement made available to journalists said on interrogation, the suspect confessed to the commission of the crime but claimed that he was used by the devil.
Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police, Edward Ajogun has ordered the immediate transfer of the case to State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for further investigation and prosecution.
