A renowned proactive radio broadcaster Tolulope Onafowokan has been appointed as the General Manager of Amuludun FM station, an arm of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), located in Moniya area of Ibadan, Oyo State Capital.
Penpushing reports that Onafowokan on Friday took over from outgoing General Manager Steve Agbaje, at a ceremony held at the Amuludun FM conference hall conducted by the Zonal Director of FRCN Ibadan, Mr. Dominic Mokikan.
The Zonal Director speaking at the handing over ceremony described the new General Manager of the station as a goal-getter and encouraged her to embrace her role as a leader rather than merely a boss
Penpushing further reports that Mokikan emphasized the critical role of teamwork in achieving organizational success, and urged the staff of Amuludun FM to collaborate with Onafowokan to propel the station forward.
The Zonal Director emphasised the importance of unity and collaboration in fostering a productive work environment, adding that as Amuludun FM transitions to new leadership, the emphasis on teamwork and cooperation sets a positive tone for the future of the station.
Penpushing also reports that the immediate past General Manager of the station in his farewell address, expressed heartfelt gratitude to God, the management, and the staff for their support throughout his tenure, just as he reflected on the achievements made during his time and offered prayers for the continued growth and success of the radio station.
The new General Manager, in her inaugural speech, expressed her appreciation for the opportunity to lead the station, and assured the management and staff of her commitment to doing her utmost to advance the station’s mission and vision.
