The Police Service Commission (PSC) and the Nigeria Police Force have announced date for constable training, being successful candidates in the ongoing 2025 recruitment exercise.

Penpushing reports that Head of Press and Public Relations at the Police Service Commission (PSC) Ikechukwu Ani made this known in a statement disclosing that April 12, 2025 has been approved for the commencement of the training

The statement urged applicants who participated in the recently concluded medical screening, held from February 26 to March 12, 2025 to check their application status, stating that such candidates must print their training call-up slip by logging onto the recruitment portal at https://apply.policerecruitment.gov.ng.

“The portal will be open from March 31. Successful candidates must report to their designated police training institutions on the date and time indicated on their call-up slip for documentation,” Ani stated.

Penpushing further reports that Head of Press and Public Relations at the Police Service Commission (PSC) explained that the documentation period at training schools was scheduled for between April 12 and April 19, 2025.

The statement outlined that candidates must report in a clean white T-shirt and shorts, and must bring their training call-up slip, application form and submission slip, and warned that candidates who fail to report within this time frame will be considered to have declined the offer.

Penpushing also reports that the statement added that the candidates must equally come with their National Identification Number (NIN), Bank Verification Number (BVN) slip, original and photocopies of certificates, and other required documents listed on the recruitment portal.

The Chairman, Police Service Commission (PSC) Hashimu Argungu, congratulated the successful candidates and urged them to dedicate themselves to ensuring the security of lives and property.
