The preparation for the All Progressives Congress (APC) national convention scheduled to hold between June 6-8,2022 in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has commenced with billboards and banners of Presidential aspirants of the party adorned the venue situated at the Eagle square, as well as its environs.
Penpushing reports that investigation showed that almost all the 23 screened aspirants by the panel earlier set up by the party have commissioned their loyalists in erecting their billboards and banners across the length and bread of the venue, with more focus of such campaign banners pasted massively along the secretariat road in the town.
The findings also showed that, each states of the federation have equally acquired space to serve as their tents for the exercise, while boxes with inscription indicating their respective states were being arranged under different canopies already being mounted at the venue.
Penpushing further reports that, the banners and posters at the venue showed that all the geopolitical zones were represented by aspirants said to have showed interest to pick the ticket of ruling All Progressives Congress (APC),an indication that, the presence of massive presence of the aspirants banners and posters maybe contrary development on the position of the Northern governors, asking President Muhammadu Buhari to support South President .
The emergence of posters and billboards of number of aspirants from the South-West at the venue was also seen from some political quarters that, a move by leadership asking aspirants from the zone to meet and bring a consensus candidate among them,may not see light of the day and die a natural death
Penpushing also reports that, the flag and banners of the All Progressives Congress (APC) were conspicuously displayed and stretches across the vicinity meant for the national convention of the party
