The Anambra State Police Command has concluded investigation on 36-year-old woman Anulika Onyeanusia who used own daughter in Onitsha for pornography, having admitted that she had earned $700 from posting the daughter’s pornographic video on social media.
Penpushing reports that the Command Public Relations Officer Tochukwu Ikenga, made this known in a fresh update provided, while it would be recalled that the suspect was earlier arrested on Friday September 11, 2026
The statement said the husband of the suspect Ikechukwu Onyeanusia, said he was not aware that his wife was sexually molesting their children, however, police operatives recovered sex toys and other unnamed items from the suspect which would assist in the ongoing investigation.
Penpushing further reports that Ikenga added that the authorities also rescued four children, aged two, three, six and nine years from the suspect, however the case had caused public outrage, with many Nigerians for serious investigations into the incident.
“The Command has investigated the case and forwarded the case file to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) for necessary legal action. The suspect is currently in police custody, pending further proceedings,” he added.
Penpushing also reports that Ikenga said the Commissioner of, Nnanna Ama, has reiterated the command’s commitment to protect children and other vulnerable persons from sexual abuse, exploitation, violence and other forms of harm.
The statement said the Commissioner assured that the command would continue to ensure that victims and survivors of sexual assault in the state were treated with dignity, sensitivity and appropriate protection throughout the investigative and legal process.
