A member of Penpushing platform, Omooba Segun Adewale is to be conferred as Fellow of the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON), with the investiture scheduled to hold January 19, 2022 in Lagos State.
Penpushing reports that, letter confirming selection and induction of Adewale for the highest honour in the advertising practice was signed by Dr Olalekan Fadolapo, who is the Registrar/Chief Executive of the Council
‘I am delighted to inform you that the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON) has approved your selection for the conferment of the Fellowship of the Advertising Profession. This followed the consideration of your application and the recommendation of the special committee set up for the purpose’, Fadolapo wrote
Penpushing further reports that, the letter explained that, the fellowship is the highest status of Advertising Practice in Nigeria conferred on practitioners who have distinguished themselves in the practice, and who have acquired the professional clout to serve as pillars of support and leading light for the profession.
The investiture of Adewale, media guru of over 30 years and a former Governorship aspirant in Ogun State, as stated in the invitation cards will take place at Radisson Blue Hotel, Ikeja in Lagos by 2pm, which will also be followed with a reception at 7th Continent A la Carte, Agidingbi, in Ikeja
