A notable and frontline member of Penpushing Platform and former Deputy Governor of Ogun State Alhaja Salimot Badru Makanjuola will on Saturday be honoured with chieftaincy title of Beere of Yewaland.
Penpushing reports that, Badru is being honoured by the Olu of Ilaro and Paramount Ruler of Yewaland, Oba Kehinde Olugbenle, as approved by the Yewa Traditional Council, in view of her(Badru) immense contributions to upliftment of Yewaland and environs.
The ceremony is scheduled to hold in the ancient town, and dignitaries expected to attend include her former boss, Otunba Gbenga Daniel(former Governor of Ogun State), who Badru served with for two terms of eight years
Penpushing further reports that, other are: Chief Olusun Osoba(former Governor of Ogun State), Prince Dapo Abiodun(Ogun State Governor) and Secretary to Federal Government, Boss Mustapha
The list of dignitaries also include, Nigerian Senate President Senator Ahmad Lawan, Mr. Boss Mustapha (Secretary to Federation) Hajia Shamsuna Ahmed (Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning), Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi among others
Penpushing also reports that the installation was fixed as part of the 10th Anniversary of the installation of the Paramount Ruler, while there will be public presentation of the autobiography of Oba Olugbenle titled ” Double Grace: Kingship and Service”
The book presentation will be conducted under the co-chairmanship of Alhaji Aliko Dangote and the President of the Senate with Chief launchers as Alhaji Abdulsamad Rabiu and Sir Kessington Adebutu.
