A Pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Olugbenga Olawore, and 14 others have been kidnapped while travelling in a 14-seater bus along Lanlate-Eruwa road on Friday in Oyo State, as police commenced investigation into the incident.
Penpushing reports that Oyo State Police Command Public Relations Officer Adewale Osifeso, wo confirmed the ugly development on Sunday said updates on the investigation will be provided accordingly.
The kidnapped cleric is with Heavens Gate Parish, Redeemed Christian Church of God(RCCG), Lagos Province 73, along Agbara-Lusada Road in Ogun State, and was said to be returning from Ipapo town where he went to put the final touches on the burial arrangements for his mother, Deborah Olawore, scheduled for April 26, 2024.
