The Oyo State Chapter of League of Veteran Journalists (LVJ) have congratulated the Ogun State Chapter on successful and peaceful democratic election of its pioneer executives to run affairs of the league for next three years.
Penpushing reports that the congratulatory message was contained in a statement issued by the Chairman, Banji Ogundele pointing out that time-tested veterans with integrity and good track records have been elected to steer the ship of the Ogun State for the next three years.
“On behalf of the League of Veteran Journalists, Oyo State, I congratulate the newly elected members of the Executive of the Ogun State League of Veteran Journalists. I particularly congratulate Veteran Dele Akinsola for becoming the new Chairman. I am sure he will bring novelty and development to the League”, he wrote.
“I equally send my hearty congratulations to the Secretary, Veteran Austin Elewodalu , the Treasurer, Veteran Stella Sawyerr, the Welfare/PRO Dimeji Kayode-Adedeji and the Auditor, Veteran Yemi Akintunde”, Ogundele added
