A federal lawmaker representing Oluyole Federal Constituency at the House of Representative, Hon. Tolulope Akande-Sadipe has donated twelve 300KVA transformers to communities in Oluyole Federal constituency of Oyo State.

Penpushing reports that this donation comes barely a month after Akande-Sadipe facilitated an empowerment program for 200 women and youths in intensive training on cosmetology, donating several boreholes with water treatment plants, and completing the construction of three schools in the constituency communities in January.

The lawmaker in fulfilment of her promises to the people expressed optimism that the transformers will significantly impact the quality of life and economic activities within the communities.

Penpushing further reports that, the current twelve beneficiary communities are Lafiku Village, Irepodun Abbey Technical, Idi Ishin Community, Egbeda Tuba Community, Ifelodun Community, Crin Odo Ona Community, Alaagba One Village, Orelope Isale Alfa, Papa Eleye, Sanyo Agbamu Community, Ori Apata Estate, and Adewolo Community.

The Special Assistant on Media to the lawmaker, Mr. Olamilekan Olusada assured residents in the  constituency of continued representation that would bring more benefits to them, recalling that prior to 2019 elections she took her campaign to different communities.

“Prior to the 2019 elections, I took my campaign to different communities in my Constituency in the quest to dialogue, exchange ideas on their expectations, and understand their needs. It was important for me to have a better understanding of the gaps I needed to fill and collect first-hand data from the people of Oluyole”, she said.

The politician noted that transformers were highlighted as a key need in the communities, and assured members of her constituency that despite the challenges, she is committed to ensuring that more requests will be fulfilled and Oluyole Federal Constituency would experience rapid development.

Penpushing also reports that the community leaders took turns to express their deep appreciation for the kind gestures of  Akande-Sadipe, promising to ensure proper watch on the transformers.
