A collapsed mosque on Yusuf Street, off Ladipo Road, Papa Ajao, Mushin area of Lagos State on Sunday has claimed life of one person and others sustaining injuries while prayer was ongoing, while those injured had been rushed to the hospital.
Penpushing further reports that Permanent Secretary of the Lagos Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), Femi Oke-Osanyintolu made this known in a statement in Lagos, adding that search and rescue operations were taking place under his supervision.
The Permanent Secretary disclosed that as at the time of filing this report the dead body had been recovered, and equally listed emergency responders at the scene to include the Lagos Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) Response Team, the police, the Lagos State Ambulance Service and the Lagos State Fire Service.
