The Ogu General Assembly (OGA) of Ogun State has congratulated Governor Dapo Abiodun on his recent election as Chairman of Southern Governors Forum, noting that his election by his colleagues is an affirmation of his record as a rare leader.
Penpushing reports that the Convener and President of the assembly, Prof Jendele Hungbo in the congratulatory letter addressed to the forum chairman pointed out that he (Abiodun) has capacity to lead in an environment of great diversity and multiplicity of convictions.
‘Your election by all the sixteen other Governors of the three geopolitical zones making up Southern Nigeria is an affirmation of your record as a rare leader with capacity to lead in an environment of great diversity and multiplicity of convictions’’, Hungbo wrote.
Penpushing further reports that the socio-cultural organisation stated that it is instructive that a person of Governor Abiodun’s caliber was chosen to lead his colleagues in the South at this crucial moment cheracterised by ongoing conversations seeking directions to greatness of Nigeria

‘We have no doubt in our minds that you are poised, once more, to spur Ogun State to greater reckoning through an enviable record of performance as primus inter pares among Governors in Southern Nigeria’, the letter emphasised.
