Nigerian Media Leaders are to converge on Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital for 2-day summit, scheduled to hold between Monday, May 11 and 12, 2026, designed to meet head-on the challenges of the decline in the fortunes of the industry, caused by shifts in technology and media consumption habits.
Penpushing reports that over 60 media leaders both from the print, electronics and online across the country are to participate at the conference which is the 4th edition, being organized by Journalism Clinic.
The summit has array of sponsors and partners, namely Pan Ocean, New Cross Exploration and Production Limited, Lagos State Government, Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), NLNG, Punch Newspaper, Fidelity Bank, Nigeria Railway Corporation (NRC) and Ogun State Government, while Penpushing Media serves as Local Organising Committee (LOC)
Penpushing further reports that the participants as at the time of filing this report have started arriving Academy Suites, in Leme axis of Moshood Abiola way, Abeokuta, venue of the summit, with arrangements already put in place.
The Founder and Director of Journalism Clinic, Taiwo Obe in a statement explained that the theme of the conference is ‘Reset. Restart. Restore’, adding that the highlight of this edition will be a keynote address to be delivered by him. Titled ‘1,001 THINGS’
