The Nigeria Police Force has concluded arrangements to organise its 2024 annual Christmas Carol and Service of Songs Programme, scheduled to hold on Friday, December 20, 2024, at the Police Resource Centre, Jabi, Abuja, Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Penpushing reports that the Force Public Relations Officer Muyiwa Adejobi in a statement on Wednesday assured that this
year’s carol promises to be a spiritually uplifting and memorable occasion as the police usher in the festive season with hymns, prayers, and thanksgiving.
The statement explained that the programme reflects the commitment of the Nigeria Police Force to foster peace, unity, and community spirit among officers, their families, and the general public adding that first lady of the country, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, is the Mother of the day, while other dignitaries who will grace the ocasion include the Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio; and Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume.
Penpushing further reports that Adejobi disclosed that other personalities include Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Woke; Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa while the event will also feature a special ministration by Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, whose message of hope and faith is expected to inspire all attendees.
The statement emphasised that the programme will include renditions of carols by the Nigeria Police Choir, scripture readings, and goodwill messages, and urged all members of the Nigeria Police Force, their families, and the general public to join the special celebration, to jointly embrace the spirit of Christmas, which embodies love, peace, and goodwill toward all.
