The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP),Ogun State Chapter has charged electorates to come out  in large number and vote for their preferred candidates in the forthcoming July 24 local government poll in the state.

Penpushing reports that, chieftain of the party, Olufemi Solola gave the charge on Wednesday in a statement, stressing that it is high time people  deliver themselves from the agony, pains and sorrow allegedly  inflicted on them by the All Progressive Congress,(APC) government.

The party leader, in similar vein, advised the Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission, (OGSIEC_ in ensuring a transparent exercise devoid of violence as well as adequate provision of voting materials to all the polling booths for electorate to exercise their civic rights.

Penpushing further reports that, Solola told the electoral body to allow the residents to choose their leaders of choice, and took time to commend the commission on its level of preparation for the election.

“I thank the OGISEC led by Osibodu having marvelously done well  in preparing for the local government elections in Ogun State, thank you so much for all you have done. Until the elections take place and the results are peacefully released and accepted by all parties, we cannot actually give you a total kudos but so far so good you have done your bes”, he said.

Penpushing also reports that, the New Nigeria Peoples Party(NNPP) chieftain, however, urged the people of the state to vote for his party, boasting that the party if voted into power would give them the good governance they deserved.

“I implore the good people of Ogun State to go all out on July 24 to go and vote out APC and vote for NNPP, you don’t need to be afraid of anybody, you do not need to be scared, it is your time to deliver yourself from the pain, the sorrow, the agony, the  poverty, impoverishment that the APC government has put a lot of people in Ogun State in”, Solola emphasised

‘I don’t want you to be afraid at all, it is your vote and it must, but if you don’t go out and vote, that means, you are not ready to deliver yourself from the yokes that we have been put in by the APC government. Come July 24, good people of Ogun State, go out and vote for NNPP, for the positions of the Chairman and that of the Councilors in all the wards in Ogun State”, he  stated

“Good people of Ogun State, have the boldness, the joy to go and vote on July 24 for NNPP, I am calling for a transparent and a free and fair election, whereby the people of Ogun State starting from their wards will decide who should be their councilors and Chairman in the various local governments”.

“I am appealing to OGISEC been led by Osibodu to please give us a transparent and a totally free and fair elections. I am appealing to you (Osibodu) and your OGISEC team make sure we have more than enough needed electoral materials, ballot papers, ballot boxes, the personnel, the officers and all forms of resources, that is needed , for the successful takeoff and completion of the local government elections on July 24’.
