The Ogun State Head of Service, Mr. Kolawole Fagbohun has disclosed that his secondary education prepared him for diligence, steadfastness, perseverance and passion to serve humanity, assuring that he would be fair to all on the job assigned to him and handle issues with the fear of God.
Penpushing reports that Fagbohun made the disclosure while hosting his alumni, Egbado College Old Students’ Association, who came to celebrate him on his new appointment, at his office in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.
The number one civil servant in the state promised not to disappoint or bring shame to his former college and old students, describing Egbado College as a great school that laid the foundation of greatness in all the former students.
Penpushing further reports that Fagbohun thanked Governor Dapo Abiodun on his appointment, stressing that on his job as the Head of Service he would be fair to all, and handle issues and people with the fear of God,
‘I thank God for what I have gone through in service, we have been taught at Egbado College that we must be compassionate and there are two principles of handling human beings, they are firmness and fairness and these I have been deploying since I joined service. On this job, I will be fair to all, I will handle issues and people with the fear of God”, he said.
Penpushing also reports that in their testimonies, a retired Permanent Secretary, TPL.Ayodeji Megbope, the Permanent Secretary in the Office of the Governor, Mr. Dahunsi Ogunleye and the Vice Chairman of the Association, Mr. Femi Odubiyi described Fagbohun as a dedicated officer who was passionate about his job, promising to continue supporting him to have a successful tenure.
The Head of Service equally received in his office, management staff of Ministry of Environment and Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital (OOUTH) led by the Permanent Secretary, Engr. Rasaq Ojetola, and the Chief Medical Director, Dr. (Mrs) Bunmi Fatungase respectively.
