A man identified as  Oluwagbemiga Elijah Babatunde , has been killed in an auto crash while travelling to attend family meeting for the burial  arrangement of his late father in Lanlate town, Ibarapa East local government area of Oyo State

Penpushing reports that, the deceased son, Raphael Babatunde made this known in tears while narrating how his 64 year old father was consumed in fire emanating from the crash, alongside other passengers of the ill-fated journey

The bereaved, who managed to identified badly burnt corpse of his father at the mortuary of Eruwa General Hospital, recalled that the deceased left Lagos enroute Lanlate when the vehicle conveying him and other passengers involved in a ghastly accident

Penpushing further reports that, he lamented that his father died barely five days after the death of his grandfather, and in sober mood called on the government to release his corpse for the family to give him a befitting burial

“My father left Lagos early Friday morning to attend the burial planning meeting of his father who died on Tuesday in Lanlate community not knowing that death his lurking around the corner’, the bereaved lamented

“I am still in shock seeing the burnt corpse of my father. Even though he is badly burnt, I can still recognize him, that is my dad. What we want now is for the government to release his corpse so that we can give him a befitting burial”, he stated

Penpushing also reports that, the accident which claimed lives of the man and other nineteen passengers involved an 18-seater Toyota Hiace bus and Sienna space bus which collided and immediately caught fire, burning all of them beyond recognition
