The management of Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro has appointed Town Planner Lukman Lasisi as Deputy Rector (Administration) of the institution effective from Wednesday, December 7,2022.
Penpushing reports that, the approval by the Governing Council was affirmed at its 99th regular meeting held on December 7, 2022, following recommendation of the academic board of the institution.
The letter reference number AD/COM.22/Vol. IV/111, dated 8th December,2022 and signed by the registrar of the institution, Mrs A.F Babatola, announced the appointment, adding that the appointment, was in line with the Federal Polytechnics [Amended] Acts,2019,
‘I am happy to inform you that the Governing Council of the Federal Polytechnic,Ilaro at its 99th Regular Meeting held on Wednesday,7th December,2022 accepted the recommendation of the Academic Board and has approved your appointment as the Deputy Rector [Administration] with effect from Wednesday, 7th December,2022″, the letter reads
“In this appointment,you are to assist the Rector in the performance of his functions,act in place of the Rector,if for any reason the Rector is absent or unable to perform his functions as Rector,and perform such other functions as the Council may from time to time,assign you”, the letter emphasized.
“The appointment,in line with the Federal Polytechnics [Amended] Acts,2019,shall be for a single term of four(4) years from the date of the appointment. All other conditions of your appointment as contained in your initial letter of appointment remain unchanged”, it added.
