A legal practitioner whose identity is yet to be known has been reported to have beaten his wife blue and black inflicting injuries on her, as well as stripping her half nude in a domestic violence at the couple matrimonial home in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
Penpushing reports that the lawyer who turned himself to ‘Tyson’, was caught in a video secretly recorded by neighbours during the night scuffle where he unleashed brutal violence upon his wife, who was also seen bleeding profusely
The exact cause of the brawl as at the time of filing this report was unknown, but sources said the husband was heard profusely asking for a key from the battered wife, just as some neighbours who witnessed the incident from their homes said it has been a routine of the man to beat the woman in the past four years
Penpushing further reports that the video footage showed how the wife was violently maltreated, as neighbours appealed to the police authorities on need to investigate the assault, and need for the husband to be brought to book
The incident was initially thought to be armed robbery attack as said by one of the neighbours, hence, reason for not coming out earlier to rescue the wife, explaining that it was later realized that it was a domestic violence
Penpushing also reports that when it later dawn on the furious husband that the scene was been recorded by a neighbour, decided to lock the wife out and other her to relocate to the home of the person recording the scene.
The video later showed neighbours tongue-lashing the lawyer, declaring that the video will be uploaded into internet for public to see his conduct, and if he(lawyer) can go to court over the release of the video they will stand as witness against him at the court
Penpushing reports that the neighbours in the video were heard saying the lawyer was a serial wife beater, declaring his recent action will serve as last for him, emphasisng that they will ensure he face the law and get sanctioned
