The Ere-Ijesa community in Osun State South-West of Nigeria has concluded arrangements to celebrate and honour one of their sons, Prince Adeleke Olaniyi Agbola on his recent elevation to the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN)
Penpushing reports the ceremony which is the second of its kind in the town is scheduled to hold on February 5, 2022, and organized by the Convener, Chams, Sir Demola Aladekomo in conjunction with traditional ruler of the town Elere of Ere-Ijesa, Oba Augustine Adenipekun Alowolodu as well as some prominent elites.
The programme of activities also include a thanksgiving service slated for 11am on same day at St’ Stephen Church Ere-Ijesa in Oriade Local Government Area of Osun State and will be followed with a reception at John Aladekomo Town Hall
Penpushing further reports that, Agboola is also the Chancellor of Diocese of Ijesa North (Anglican Communion) and has just attained the high rank position of the legal profession, Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN)
The Osun State Governor, Gboyega Oyetola is expected to lead members of his cabinet to the ceremony, which other activities include awards presentation to some prominent sons and daughters of the town.
Penpushing also reports that, the immediate past Vice Chancellor Lagos State University (LASU), Prof Olanrewaju Fagbohun(SAN) will deliver a lecture with the topic, “The Laws of God and the Laws of Man at the Intersection of Justice,”
The other dignitaries expected are: Rt Hon Timothy Owoeye,( Speaker Osun State House of Assembly), members of State House of Assembly, Mr Akande Oluwafemi,(Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice) among others.
