A middle-aged man Adekunle Adeniji has filed a divorce suit against his wife, Kabirat Adeniji at the Customary Court, Ake, Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital accusing her of been fond in destroying properties which include pouring salt inside his car engine.
Penpushing reports that the complainant told the court on Tuesday that he has never enjoy good relationship with the wife since they have been together for 20 years, even having paid her dowry, recalling that the father-in-law was against the relationship from onset.
The man alleged that as part of his wife’s misbehaviour, she had continuously engaged in physical fight with neighbours, which he said was becoming embarrassing to the family, stressing that he is fed up with her conduct
Penpushing further reports that Adeniji told the court that he had earlier given the court hearing letter to his wife several times but she still refused to show up in court, insisting that he wanted to end the relationship.
Meanwhile, President of the court Mrs A.O Abimbola in her ruling, however, adjourned the matter till November 12, 2024 for further hearing
