Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have attacked a legal practitioner, Barrister Sanni Boladale at the gate of his house located in Soyoye, rounder axis of Abeokuta North Local Government area of Ogun state.
Penpushing reports that, the kidnappers swooped on the lawyer as he was about to enter his premises, but luck was said to be on his side, as he managed to escape, while a female occupant, identified as Hannah Opeyemi, said to be inside the car with the lawyer, was not that lucky, and taken away by the bandits.
The incident was reported to have occurred Friday at about 7.30pm, while as at the time of filing this report, the whereabout of the lady was unknown, and the abductors were yet to reach the family of the victim.
Penpushing further reports that, Soyoye community which links Ayetoro, Isaga, Ibara-Orile and Badagry-Sokoto expressway located in Abeokuta North Local Government have recently turned to kidnappers’ operational base, as number of people have been kidnapped in the vicinity.
The kidnappers have continued to feed fat on the crime, as they made ransom from the victims, which families offered to save the lives of their kidnapped family members, while the recent attack which claimed life of a member of the hunters association occurred at Isaga-Orile community.
Penpushing further reports that, it is on record that, son of a renowned medical Director, a retired lecturer, a police woman, a nurse and medical doctor were victims of the kidnappers under one year, in the same axis of the town, and regained their freedom after ransom payment.
The Ogun State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi when contacted on the attack on the lawyer, and abduction of the female occupant in the car, confirmed the incident, adding that investigation has commenced
