Gunmen have abducted six primary school pupils on their way to the school around 7 a.m. Friday in Alwaza, a community in Doma Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, while as at the time of this report security operatives are said to be trailing the suspected kidnappers.
Penpushing reports that Nasarawa State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Rahman Nansel confirmed the incident adding that the operation to rescue the abducted pupils is being led by the Commissioner of Police, Maiyaki Muhammad-Baba
The police spokesman added that a joint team of police operatives, soldiers and vigilante groups has been dispatched to apprehend the suspects and rescue the victims as at the time of filing this report on Friday evening
