The former Nigeria’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Ambassador Sarafa Tunji Isola has described former Governor of Ogun Otunba Gbenga Daniel as a transformative figure who made an indelible mark on the state’s development trajectory.
Penpushing reports that Sarafa made this known in a congratulatory message to Daniel on his 69 birthday anniversary pointing out that under his stewardship, Ogun State witnessed progress across various sectors, from infrastructure development to social welfare programs.
The statement added that this has continue to benefit the people today, stressing that his tenure as Governor was marked by visionary policies, effective governance, and a deep understanding of the needs of the people,adding that his legacy as a leader who prioritized the welfare of the citizens is one that will echo for generations to come.
Penpushing further reports that Sarafa rejoicing with Daniel who is now a Senator representing Ogun East Senatorial District of Ogun State at the national assembly described his contributions to the development of the state as indelible.
The Ambassador in the message titled “Senator Otunba Gbenga Daniel: The Life of Service and Leadership – Birthday Tribute,” said he warmly celebrated the former Governor who doubles as Chairman of the Senate Committee on Navy.
