A suspected fraudster identified as Muhammed Idris has hacked the mobile phone number +2347065540179 belonging to President of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ)Alhassan Yahya and seeking for financial assistance from contacts on the phone.
Penpushing reports that the fraudster in his message to targeted innocent victims said he needed the sum of N285, 000 meant to be send to a relative, but could not assess his bank account as a result of network challenge.
The suspect in attempt to further deceive his targeted victims, promised to refund the money latest the following day, and equally provided Union Bank account with number 0238850067 for the requested money to be deposited
‘Good evening, how are you doing. Please I don’t know if you can help me with an instant transfer of 285, 000 to someone I am having network issue with my bank account and it is very urgent. I promise to refund it back to you tomorrow. This is the account details pls. Muhamamed Idris. 0238850067 Union Bank’, the fraudster wrote
