Former Military Administrator of Ogun State, Commodore Kayode Olofinmoyin(rtd) and his wife on Monday received coronavirus vaccines, describing his experience after the injection as smooth and painless period.
Penpushing reports that, the couple arrived the Governor’s Office at about 11. 30am and were ushered in by the Chief Press Secretary to Ogun State Governor, Kunle Somorin to the Governor’s office clinic, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.
The former Military Administrator and the wife having earlier registered online for the exercise produced their vaccination Identity codes NG-OG4945600BQ and NG-OG27286527ZS respectively to the medical team.
Penpushing further reports that, having satisfied the protocols and guidelines for the application of the vaccines, the couple were separately given the injections and subsequently issued a medical certificate of immunization.
The former Military Administrator while speaking after the exercise commended the Government for the proactive measures towards the acquisition of the vaccines, and also praised the commitment of the medical team in the state.
Penpushing also reports that, Olofinmoyin encouraged Nigerians to take advantage of the vaccines and get themselves out of the hook of the killer virus, stressing that, from his experience there was no cause to entertain any fear in regards the vaccination
Meanwhile, Olofinmoyin who ruled the state over two decades ago, was given a thump up by number of the civil servants on noticing him on arrival, with many of them rushed to the clinic to greet him profusely, pointing out that, despite his military background and the dark days of the military era, he added human face to his administration which has remained a reference point of good governance.
