The Publicity Secretary of All Progressives Congress(APC) in Ogun State Comrade Tunde Oladunjoye has disclosed that some mental patients in an uncertified mental home were organised to purportedly suspend him from his Itele ward seven in Ijebu-East local government area of Ogun State.
Penpushing reports that Oladunjoye made the clarification while reacting to the controversial suspension which flooded the social media on Tuesday, alleging Hon Deko Onamusi as the arrow head of action which he described as comedy adding that he(Onadeko) gathered about 15 people including some mental patients in his uncertified extortionist mental home to perpetrate illegality which holds no water
“My attention has just been drawn to certain joke being shared in the social media that I have been suspended by my ward in Ijebu Itele Ward Seven APC in Ijebu East LG; and that the Ward Chairman has been removed.
The comedy is trending as expected since my name is attached”, he stated.
“Nothing can be father from the truth. One unstable Hon. Deko Onamusi, who runs a fake, unapproved mental home in Ijebu Itele is behind the dirty job. Over the years, my growing profile has been a source of immense worry , envy to him. This is someone who confessed openly that he worked against our party in the last elections”, Oladunjoye wrote.
“He is now back to the same shenanigans that he perpetrated five years ago, after decamping from PDP to APC (after the election of Prince Dapo Abiodun as Governor), which he escalated to the level of working against our party at the 2019 general elections”, he stated.
“Onamusi gathered about 15 people including some mental patients in his uncertified extortionist mental home this evening and claimed myself and the ward chairman have been suspended”, Oladunjoye affirmed.
Penpushing further reports that the chieftain of the ruling party challenged Onamusi to show pictures and video of the meeting along with the attendance register of the purported meeting, and equally called on the concerned authorities to call him to order
“I challenge Onamusi, whose middle name is controversy, to show pictures and video of the meeting along with the attendance register of the purported meeting. The concerned authorities should call this unstable elements to order and prevail on Deko Onamusi to stop bringing his mental patients to political ward meetings. The constitution our party, APC, is clear on who qualifies to be a member of the party”, he emphasised.
“Specifically, Section 11 sub-section 3, of the APC Constitution states that a person shall be qualified to be a member of the party if He/She has not been adjudged to be a lunatic or otherwise declared to be of unsound mind under any Law in force in any part of Nigeria. For the sake of civility and decency, Onamusi should be called to order”, he added.
Penpushing also reports that Oladunjoye explained that the bi-monthly ward meeting is scheduled on Frday and challenged Onamusi to come and effect the suspension, as well as the purported removal of the ward as made to believe,adding that his(Oladunjoye) reaction was a matter of courtesy for the purpose of people asking him about the trash written by those behind the fake suspension
“The Ward meeting of Ijebu itele Ward 7 is on Fridays, bi-monthly, Onamusi should come and effect my suspension and removal of the Ward chairman, an unconstitutional action clearly; beyond his power.This reaction is, as a matter of courtesy, for the purpose of people asking me about, or sending to me the trash the unstable Onamusi has written, otherwise, he is better ignored.Enough said” Oladunjoye wrote
