A political juggernaut, Otunba Rotimi Paseda said Governor Dapo Abiodun is an accidental governor who does not deserve second term him office, declaring that he(Paseda) will use all available resources to truncate Abiodun”s desire to rule the state for another four years effective from 2023.
Penpushing reports that, Paseda made the declaration while addressing a press conference at Iwe-Iroyin Press Centre, Abeokuta, adding that he left the ruling All Progressives Congress(APC) over alleged maladministration and incompetence of Abiodun as the sitting Governor of Ogun State.
The former Governorship candidate of Unity Party of Nigeria (UPN) in 2015 and under the platform of Social Democratic Party (SDP) 2019 respectively, later joined All Progressives Congress (APC) ,and said he was dissapointed in the style of administration of Abiodun.
“Dapo Abiodun is an accidental governor, he was not prepared for governance, hence, he is careless and the careful God will take off the political power from him and give it to another person. I have made up my mind that I will not going to support a careless son of a careful God, and I refer it to Dapo Abiodun’, he stated.
‘My decision to leave APC is not that APC did something bad to me but I want to make sure that Dapo Abiodun ‘lule’, that is why I left APC. Now that I left APC, I have not declare for any political party and do not intend to do so. I am fully a citizen of Nigeria’, Paseda added
Penpushing further reports that, the multi-millionaire politician disclosed that, he would support the candidature of Biyi Otegbeye who is the Governorship candidate of Action Democratic Congress (ADC) in the forthcoming poll
‘I have declare and I’m ready to give my support to one man and that man is not anybody but Biyi Otegbeye. He is the one I’m supporting, he is the one I’m going to put my weight behind, and that is why I have come to make an official statement that every things that is Paseda in Ogun state be it financial and members would be for Otegbeye’, he emphasised.
Penpushing reports that he belongs to political family of former Governor Ibikunle Amosun, stressing that on his own part one person that will probably do what he love to do is the Governorship Candidate of Action Democratic Congress(AC)
‘I believe that, one person that will probably do what I will love to do if I become governor is Biyi Otegbeye. For the fact that I belong to a political family now and that political family is headed by Senator Ibikunle Amosun’, he added.
“Dapo Abiodun has to ‘lule’ go and ask a common man on the street, not the elites ooo, even elites have a lot to say, so my assessment of him is that, he is an accidentals governor; he didn’t think he is going to win. I don’t want to be very critics, it is my own choice. You can wish Dapo Abiodun good luck but me, I’m going to work against him’, Paseda declared.
“I belong to a political family where Bisi Otegbeye belongs and that political family is led by Senator Ibikunle Amosun and we are going to use the political movement to defeat Governor Dapo Abiodun who has “lule” (failed).
