A new publication, Climate magazine is to be launch into the media industry on Tuesday, a programme scheduled to hold at Shehu Musa Yaradua Centre, in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory(FCT) by 10am
Penpushing reports that, the Publisher, Aliu Akoshile in a statement said the launch is part of the events marking the first anniversary of NatureNews, (www.naturenews.africa) the online newspaper which focuses on the environment, climate change and SDG.
The statement added that, the event will also feature the presentation of the Hero of Environment Actions for Development (HEAD) award in recognition of spectacular innovations and creative solutions for environmental sustainability.
Penpushing further reports that, Chairman of the occasion is Alhaji Nuhu Muhammad Sanusi, Emir of Dutse and Chancellor, Sokoto State University, while guest speaker is Prof. Mark Mwandosya, Chairman, Stanbic Bank Tanzania and former Minister, Ministries of Environment, Water Resources and Irrigation, Republic of Tanzania.
The Publisher added in the statement that, Special Guest is Mallam Kabiru Yusuf, President of the Newspaper Proprietors Association of Nigeria and Chairman, International Press Institute, (IPI), Nigeria.
Penpushing also reports that, Akoshile said the chief presenter of the magazine is Alhaji M. I. Yahaya, former Chairman, Standard Chartered Bank Limited while a review of the magazine will be presented by Dr. Abiodun Adeniyi, Associate. Prof/Head, Mass Communication, Baze University, Abuja.
