A Canada-based entrepreneur Oluwafemi Ayeyemi, has unveiled construction of a multi-billion-naira hotel project located along the Ijeja-Obada Oko-Ewekoro axis of Ewekoro local government area of Ogun State aimed to redefine hospitality.
Penpushing reports that the hotel known as FELIZA Hotel and Suites is being constructed on over two acres of land and designed to have state-of-the-art facilities and projected for completion by October 30, 2025

The Chief Executive Officer speaking with journalists during a facility tour of the complex on Monday explained that the project has so far gulped ₦3 billion, and will feature 62 luxury rooms, a swimming pool, gym and spa, and three mini halls for meetings and conferences.
Penpushing further reports that Ayeyemi added that other facilities include several large-capacity event halls — including a 2,000-capacity hall, a 500-capacity hall, a 200-capacity hall, and a 30-capacity cocktail hall.
The entrepreneur boasted that the hotel on completion will deliver total luxury and premium comfort, with features such as centralized industrial air conditioning and other high-end hospitality standards.

Penpushing also reports that he expressed optimism about the economic impact of the project, however, lamented the lack of basic infrastructure, particularly the poor condition of roads leading to the area.
“We are calling on the government to come in and support this project, especially in fixing the road. It is a federal road, and its current state is a major discouragement to foreign investors. I cannot fix it alone,’, he said.
Penpushing reports that he disclosed that he had spent 12 years in Canada, and shared a personal story of how his previous home at Laderin in Abeokuta was demolished to make way for the railway project, a situation that nearly discouraged his investment plans in Nigeria.

The Chief Executive Officer stated that, nonetheless, he remains committed to giving back to his home country and encouraged Nigerians in the diaspora to do the same, adding that the only way to stabilize the economy is to create employment.
“The only way to stabilize the economy is to create employment. Our target is to empower people through job creation in the hospitality and real estate sector,” he added.
Penpushing further reports wife of the proprietor of the hotel Mrs. Elizabeth Ayeyemi, in her remarks emphasized the need for government intervention to support private investors, disclosing that there are number of Nigerians interested to come back home to invest

“There are many people abroad who want to invest in Nigeria, but challenges like bad roads and insecurity discourage them. We’ve also heard suggestions to hire foreigners, but we insist on hiring Nigerians — from contractors to engineers and all post-construction staff,” she said.
Penpushing also reports that she stated that when completed, FELIZA Hotel and Suites is expected to become a major hospitality hub in Ogun State, enhancing tourism, business, and leisure experiences in the region.
