Suspected burglars have broken into the home of a 21 year old blind girl, Sarah Ajayi, and carted away her laptop, which was part of her educational materials, as student of School for the Blind located in Lagos State.

Penpushing reports that, the thieves invaded the room of Ajayi in her residence located in  Ota town of Ogun State, where she was holidaying, and made away with the laptop and other valuables, a development that is now  affecting her education.

The helpless lady while narrating the incident said she was asleep when the thieves entered her room, and wake up to realize that the laptop had been stolen, when she was about to work on the equipment.

Penpushing further reports that, the troubled girl, said she was shocked over what she described as act of wickedness by the thieves, knowing her pitiable condition, but said she had handed over the burglars to God.

The victim lamented that, the stolen laptop may give her set back on her academic activities and profusely appealed to well meaning Nigerians and corporate bodies to come to her aid, to acquire another laptop to aid her education

Penpushing also reports that, it is recalled that, the blind girl lost her eyes while in SSS1 in a Secondary School in Abeokuta, and following her plight a neighbor took advantage of her to impregnate her.

The innocent girl was left to her fate with her baby and was discovered by Penpushing media when she was going round the town with her mother for alms, hence, the management of the media outfit took over her plight.

Penpushing reports that, the media outfit launched a support campaign for her, which attracted attention of a former military administrator in Ogun State(namewitheld) and gave support for her, leading to getting admission for her as facilitated by Penpushing media

The management and editorial board of Penpushing media was not left out of the support, with contributions towards her tuition fee, and other facilities provided for her, which include housing to make life meaningfully to her.

Penpushing further reports that, as at the time of filing this report, the visually-challenged student is in her final year in school, and report has it that, she is doing well and improving in academics which focused on handwork
