Broadcasters congratulate Yemisi Bamgbose on his emergence as Executive Secretary Broadcasting Organisation of Nigeria

The Radio Television, Theater and Art Workers Union (RATTAWU) Ogun Stste Council has congratulated Dr Yemisi Bamgbose on his election as the Executive Secretary of the Broadcasting Organisation of Nigeria(BON).

Penpushing reports that the union in the congratulatory letter signed by its Publicity Secretary, Comrade Kolawole Osho said Bamgbose emergence as the Executive Secretary during the 74th General Assembly of the organization in Abuja, no doubt, will contribute in no small measures to the development of the organisation.

‘The Executive and Members of Radio Television, Theater and Art Workers Union (RATTAWU) Ogun Stste Council  congratulate, our astute leader, two- term National President of the Union, a retired Permanent Secretary in the State Civil Service and a Veteran Broadcaster, Dr.Abel Oluwayemisi Bamgbose, on his recent appointment as the Executive Secretary of the Broadcasting Organization of Nigeria (BON), the umbrella body of both government and privately-owned broadcasting organizations in Nigeria’, the letter reads.

Penpushing further reports that the letter added that, the State Chairman of the union Comrade Adewole Bamgbose described the appointment as a well deserved one, considering his (Bamgbose) years of experience in the broadcasting.

The union boss pointed out that, the Broadcasting Organisation of Nigeria (BON’s) vision is to foster a future-proof environment for Radio, Television and New Media Broadcasters to serve their audiences and contribute to the development of the society.

Penpushing also reports that Radio Television, Theater and Art Workers Union (RATTAWU) believed that with his (Bamgbose) wealth of experience in broadcasting world, the vision will be achieved.

The union in the same vein, congratulated the Assistant General Manager (News and Current Affairs), Ogun State Television, Mr Seyi Oladimeji on his appointment as Chairman Broadcasting Organisation of Nigeria(BON) Zone C.
