Bravo to Distinguished Senator Solomon Adeola Olamilekan Yayi (Aremo of Yewa and Okanlomo of Aworiland)— the true ‘Game Changer: and “Great Political Influencer” in Ogun State politics.

The recent INEC online pre-registration statistics (1st–7th September 2025), where Ogun State ranked 3rd nationwide out of 36 states, clearly reflects the impact of Senator Yayi’s political sagacity and grassroots connection. Our people strongly believe that the best way to reciprocate his good works across Ogun State is by obtaining their voter’s cards in preparation for the 2027 general elections.

From road construction to modern markets, ICT centres, schools, primary health centres, and thousands of empowerment initiatives, Senator Yayi has consistently touched lives across the three senatorial districts. His efforts perfectly complement the laudable infrastructural strides of our hardworking Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, such as roads, schools, healthcare facilities, and the Gateway International Airport.

However, it is worrisome that some unscrupulous elements, blinded by desperation for 2027, are resorting to unconstitutional and immoral practices such as ritual oath-taking, falsely dragging the good names of our God-fearing Governor and President into their schemes. We thank the Almighty God for exposing them, and we commend Governor Dapo Abiodun for taking immediate action, alongside our State Party Chairman, *Chief Yemi Sanusi*, whose press release through Comrade Femi Nuberu rightly condemned this evil act.

The people of Ogun State reject any attempt by so-called “Ajiroba” or “Asuntoba” to drag us back into the dark days of bloody politics and ritual oaths. Even when Governor Dapo Abiodun faced severe opposition from both Federal power and a sitting Governor in his first term, he never resorted to desperation. He trusted God, and God gave him victory — twice.

We must also remind the hypocrites now parading themselves as apostles of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu that many of them openly worked against him in 2023, supporting other candidates until history and the people vindicated him. As Prof. Wole Soyinka once said, “Records are not kept because of the weakness of memory but to guide the future.”*

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu himself has always declared that he is prepared for betrayal and has the spirit to forgive. But let it be clear: Ogun State politics will not be hijacked by greedy, selfish, and desperate elements hiding under false loyalty.

We stand firmly with our President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu — Akanda Eniyan, the Oracle and Legend of African Politics, on your mandate will shall stand till 2031 sir. May the Almighty God continue to uphold our hardworking and God fearing Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun. May the Almighty God in His infinity mercy continue to protect and guide the steps of our Distinguished Senator, Solomon Adeola Yayi to become Ogun State Governor come 2027 in Jesus name . Together, we march towards a greater Ogun State and a stronger APC in 2027 KOGBAGIDI RARA!!!!

Hon. ( Chief) Adegoke Adeyanju Awoso, Afi Opa Te Ote Mole of Yewaland is member Ogun State House of Assembly, representing Yewa North 1 State Constituency
