The Jadiara royal house, a member of Fusengbuwa ruling house of Ijebu-Ode in Ogun State has disowned the fuji musician, Wasiu Ayinde, popularly called KWAM 1, on his aspiration to the stool of Awujale.

Penpushing reports that the royal family of Odedina Compound Igboduro, Ijebu-Ode made the declaration in a statement forwarded to the Chairman Fusengbuwa Ruling House Ulenla Agunsebi Ijebu-Ode emphasised that Ayinde has no genealogical lineage to Jadiara Royal House.

The statement signed by Oloriebi Jadiara Royal House, Otunba Prince Akinola Odedina and dated December 7, 2025 was also copied Deputy Chairman and Vice-Chairman of Fusengbuwa Ruling House adding that the royal house has observed with studied silence concerning aspiration of the controversial fuji music icon

“I have observed with studied silence the event of the past few days concerning the issue pertaining to Otunba Wasiu Ayinde Anifowose and his aspiration to the Awujale stool through Jadiara Royal House. I can say categorically that Wasiu has no genealogical lineage to Jadiara Royal House”, Odedina wrote.

“The Chairman of Fusengbuwa Ruling House may have rightly given him a nomination form to complete expecting him to get his roots to Jadiara Royal House authenticated. We in Jadiara Royal House have waited for him to show up with his form and whatever documents he may have to prove his linkage to Jadiara Royal House. He is yet to show up”, the statement added.

“It is necessary to release this information because the issue has become a matter of public interest. The family and the public will be informed as the event unfolds”, Odedina stated

Penpushing also reports that Jadiara Royal House equally forwarded copies of the letter to Ogun State Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun, Chairman Ijebu-Ode Local Government, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Ogun State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Secretary Ijebu-Ode Local Government and Chairman, Awujale Interregnum Administration Council
