There have been mixed reactions over Tuesday aviation violation allegedly committed by Fuji Star Wasiu Ayinde, popularly known as KWAM 1, obstructing a ValueJet aircraft from taxiing at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, with a call for drug test to be conducted on him.

Penpushing reports that a public commentator and a writer, John Ogunlela criticised the handling of the incident, stressing that the musician should have been detained immediately for National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) to conduct drug test on him

‘The offender should have been detained immediately and the NDLEA called in for a drug test. The airport security team failed woefully; a suspension without pay or even a firing is not too much’, he said

Penpushing further reports that another commentator Ohireimen Obadan was of views that the action of the fuji musician was an act of aviation terrorism, stressing that all evidences pointed to that and should be prosecuted

“All evidences point to an act of terrorism by Kwam 1. He should be prosecuted and his plea taken in court,” said Ohireimen Obadan.

Penpushing also reports that Ngetunyi Anakwe in reaction said it should be noted that Nigeria is not a banana republic where everything goes, declaring that the controversial musician should be charge with hijacking and terrorism.

“Nigeria is not a banana republic where everything goes. Kwam 1 should be charged with hijacking and terrorism; the international community is watching’, Anakwe emphasized

Penpushing reports that in similar vein, Akwaowo Etok inhis own submission expressed disappointment over troubling trend of influential Nigerians causing scenes at airports

‘It’s becoming a norm that once a prominent person misses a flight, they start causing commotion. By the time particular elites start blocking aircraft too, wahala go dey’, Etok stated.

Penpushing further reports that another commentator Ovie Abolor pointed out that in a normal situation the action of the fuji musician was criminal who should be dragged to court and bag jail for six months minimum,

“In a normal world, this guy should go to jail for six months minimum, but because of his connections, nothing will happen’, Abolor declared
