After seven years in Boko Haram captivity one the abducted Chibok Schoolgirls have returned with two children believed to have been fathered by yet to be identified members of the abductors,
Penpushing reports that the innocent victim kidnapped in 2014 alongside her mates was reported to have ,turned herself over to the Nigerian military in Gwoza town of Borno State on Saturday, and was later handed over Governor Babagana Zulum
The Governor’s spokesman, Isa Gusau in a statement said the girl, Hassana Adamu was handed over to the Governor who was in Gwoza town on an official trip by the Commander, 26 Task Force Brigade, Brigadier General DR Dantani.
“The schoolgirl, Hassana Adamu, alongside her two children, was handed over to Governor Zulum by the Commander, 26 Task Force Brigade, Brigadier General DR Dantani, Zulum was in Gwoza from there he moved to Bama, undertaking humanitarian activities. He had just returned from northern Borno where he spent five days for humanitarian interventions’, the statement reads
Penpushing further reports that,Hassana who was one of over 200 schoolgirls abducted at the Government Girls Secondary School, Chibok, on April 14, 2014, by Boko Haram insurgents escaped from captivity after 2,555 days, about two weeks after one of her mate Ruth Pogu, also regained freedom.
