The defeated Governorship Candidate of Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), Ladi Adebutu is said to have secretly raised cabinet team under the illusion that he was going to win at the Supreme Court judgement which ended not in his favour.
Penpushing reports that Governor Dapo Abiodun made the disclosure while addressing citizens and residents of the state at the arcade ground, Oke-Mosan Abeokuta, after the Supreme Court judgment which pronounced him as the duly elected Governor for another term of four years.
The Governor disclosed that under this illusion his opponent Adebutu of Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) had already established non-existing cabinet which comprises commissioners and replacement of the Ogun State Head of Service, adding that with God on his(Abiodun) side the illusion turned out a failure.
“They have even started forming a cabinet which include commissioners and replacement of the head of service. God has not put me in shame. God shows His power against my political enemies. This is the fourth time God will grant us His mercy. No humanbeing can equate himself with God’, he stated
Penpushing further reports that Abiodun said the Supreme Court victory will spur him to do more and better as well as complement his known good work for the state, stressing that within the next three and half years left for him, his administration will strive harder towards working for the comfort and welfare of residents.
The Governor emphasized that his victory is for the future of the state adding that he has forgiven all those behind evil machinations towards him, and assured that he would not be an ingrate to those who supported him, throughout the trying period, noting that he’s aware that a chieftain of the ruling party is working in the interest of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in the state.

I want to profusely thank and appreciate our Baba, a good and reliable father, Chief Olusegun Osoba. Baba you will live long, you will not have regret in your life”, Abiodun stated.
Penpushing also reports that the Governor expressed joy and satisfaction that Ogun State has recorded a feat through its Internally Generated Revenue(IGR), informing that the state is now in second position in Nigeria with resounding Revenue, and equally boasted that the first commercial flight landed on Friday at Gateway Airport in Iperu from Abuja
The notable All Progressives Congress(APC) leaders on the rostrum with the Governor while addressing thousands of party members include three former Deputy Governors in the state, Senator Gbenga Kaka, Alhaja Salimot Badru and Yetunde Onanuga, as well as Afolabi Afuape(House of Representatives), Tokunbo Talabi(Secretary to Ogun State Government) among others
