Adeleke Yusuf in Abeokuta

The Action Alliance (AA),Ogun State Chapter has elected new executive members to run the affairs of the party, an election held on Saturday at the party secretariat in Abeokuta, the state capital

Penpushing reports that, the poll produced Comrade Sanyaolu Abayomi as its chairman, Mrs. Efunsile Omotayo(Deputy Chairman), Alhaji. Okuyelu Adebola,(Tresuerer) Hon.David Ogunmoku,(Public Relations Officer), Hon.Itunu Abioro,(Legal Adviser), Barrister Olubayo Durojaye,(Women leader), Yeye Olufunke Olarenwaju,(Youth leader), Bayewu Kunle, (Oorganising Secretary) and Comrade Odeniyi Adewunmi, and others.

The Chairman in his acceptance speech promised that, the party under his administration in the state will deliver a government that will make citizen of Ogun state proud, adding that he would bring back the lost glory of the party.

‘The party shall grow from strength to strength, polling unit to polling unit, till it stretched out across the 3,210 polling units, and until the party becomes a household name in each and every of 236 wards’, he stated.

Penpushing further reports that, he boasted that, the party will not stop until it become a house hold name and relevant in the state politics, without leaving behind all its members across the nooks and crannies of the state.

The National Secretary of the party, Ambassador. Sulaimon AbdulRahseed at the meeting stated that, Nigeria system of government needs to be restructure to have the right people in leadership position of the country, so the country can attain better democracy.

Penpushing also reports that, Abdul Rasheed explained that, the party is working tirelessly to take over the presidential seat come 2023, stressing that the time is here for masses to live.

“It is time for the younger generation to take over, because, there is need for restructuring. The leadership the country is having since 1979, up till today, have already taken about three generation, so, it is time for us to take those people out, so that we can bring younger ones to govern the country.

The party scribe recalled that when Yakubu Gowon took over  power he was 30 years plus, lamenting that in the country today, you have to be 70-80 before you can become the President  in Nigeria, all this really need to be restructure.

Penpushing reports that, he emphasized that, the pattern of the governance is not helping the masses, ‘if you look at how people are suffering, masses are not getting anything, promises being made are not completed, activities in term of government are not done properly, everywhere is just going upside down. So we need serious restructuring and the agitation has just started by the party, Action Alliance. We are here to let the masses live, we are for masses, and we shall always stand to protect the interest of masses.
