The Executive Director of Women Advocates Research and Documentation Centre (WARDC), Dr Abiola Akiyode-Afolabi has explained that the historical struggles and achievements of Diversity, Equity and Inclusivity (DEI) have shaped the modern landscape, emphasizing the importance of equal opportunities, inclusive environments and ongoing advocacy.
Penpushing reports that Akiyode-Afolabi made this known on Monday in her presentation at the parliamentary dialogue on the diversity, equity and inclusivity commission, Framework for Responsible and Inclusive Land-Intensive Agriculture (FRILIA) bill, and gender mainstreaming frameworks held in Abeokuta.
