The popular lewd juju and highlife musician Iyun Janet Ajilore, popularly known as St. Janet has been reported dead on Saturday after a brief illness; however, the nature of the ailment was unknown as at the time of filing this report.
Penpushing reports that publisher and socialite, Otunba Femi Davies, announced demise of St Janet in a post shared on his Facebook page on Sunday, a development which has thrown the Nigerian entertainment industry into mourning.

Penpushing further reports that the deceased was widely celebrated for her energetic performances and unique style, which earned her a loyal fan base within Nigeria’s Juju music community and beyond.
The late St Janet throughout her career, became a familiar figure at social events and celebrations, captivating audiences with her lively stagecraft and party-themed songs that resonated with many music lovers.
