The Broadcasting Organisations of Nigeria (BON) have congratulated the newly sworn-in Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, adding that the organization has no doubt that he will bring to bear his multifaceted experiences to effectively pilot the information arm.
Penpushing reports that the congratulatory message was issued by the Executive Secretary, of Broadcasting Organisations of Nigeria (BON), Dr Yemisi Bamgbose, adding that Idris is a media owner and an accomplished Public Relations practitioner.
‘As a media owner and an accomplished Public Relations practitioner, BON has no doubt that Alhaji Mohammed Idris will bring to bear his multifaceted experiences to effectively pilot the information arm of the Federal government most especially at this particular time that the entire citizens both at home and diaspora are desirous of prompt and accurate information that will engender necessary feedback’, the letter reads.
Penpushing further reports that the Broadcasting Organisations of Nigeria (BON) while wishing the Minister a successful tenure, expressed optimism that the media industry under him will witness desired growth and as well a robust relationship with the media practitioners.
