The Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has assured that the second term of his administration would be about good governance and people-oriented projects.
Penpushing reports that Abiodun gave the assurance during a special Jumat Service ahead of his inauguration for second term which is to start May 29 2023, held at the Central Mosque, Kobiti, Abeokuta, and used the occasion to thank the Muslim faithful in the state for their support towards the success of his administration in the first term.

I want to thank our Muslim faithful for all your prayers and advice, thank you for the cordial relationship among the Muslim community in the state, the relationship between the Muslim community and other religious bodies in the state. Your religious tolerance is highly commendable’, Abiodun said.

Because if they had become a burden on us, we wouldn’t have been able to do all what we have done, thank you for your role”, he added
“All the areas that we are yet to touch, we will touch them, make them better, we will ensure that we give the people good governance and people oriented governance”, the Governor added.
Penpushing further reports that Mufasiru of Egbaland, Dr. Taofeek Amolegbe, earlier in his sermon noted that public office isn’t about how sound a candidate is academically or how rich he is,adding that attaining leadership positions is purely an act of God Almighty.
The Mufasiru while reminding Governor Abiodun that he should correct the few mistakes made in his first term, urged him to embrace the spirit of the president-elect by calling together those who had wronged him.
